How to use - My templates

The 'My templates' page is where you can start to create new legal documents based on the legal templates you have purchased. It corresponds with the 'My documents' page, where you can access, monitor and file any of the documents that you have started work on.

The following functionalities are available on the 'My templates' page:

Changing the order of the documents displayed: Use the 'Order by' functionality on the top right of the page to order your documents in the following ways:

  • in descending order based on when they were last edited or actioned ('Latest')
  • alphabetically ('A > Z')
  • reverse alphabetically ('Z > A')

Starting a new document: click on the 'Start' button to create a new document based on this template. If you save the document, it will then appear in your 'My documents' page.

Can't start a new version of a document?

When you purchase a pay as you go service through RiskRemedy, you are buying a combination of document templates and (in some service levels) a legal review of those templates to a set limit that is explained at the point of purchase. If you have already 'used up' either the number of documents you can create from a template you have purchased, or all the legal reviews associated with that document, then you will see that some templates are unavailable to you. The status you see under these circumstances will be Limit reached, i.e. you have purchased a product which allows you to create only certain documents from a wider selection and, although you may not have created a document from the template in question, you have reached the limit of the document you can create under the terms of your purchase.

RiskRemedy subscription service

If you have purchased the RiskRemedy subscription service, all available templates will be listed according to category. To access a template, click on the + alongside the category to view the list of templates within it and then click on the 'Start' button to create a new document based on this template. Under certain circumstances, your templates may not be available. The statuses you might see under these circumstances are:

  • Awaiting payment confirmation - your product will be enabled once we have confirmed your payment details.
  • Cancelled - your product is no longer available.
